PRIME'S LOW COST, SCALABLE ALTERNATIVE
Prime's cost-effective, capital-efficient technology to fractionate plasma is a viable alternative to conventional ("Cohn") processing systems, which require massive scale and huge up-front capital costs. Ours is a fully modular, scalable and distributed architecture ideal for rapidly growing markets.
We process plasma in 250 liter batches, making it possible to dynamically match capacity with plasma availability. A 20,000 square foot facility built to our specifications will operate efficiently at annual volumes of 30,000 to 125,000 liters per year.
Our pilot facility in Singapore was certified as cGMP, confirming our ability to carry out our process under the most rigorous regulatory standards.
Our separation and purification system is based on a fully disposable membrane we manufacture in our Singapore facility. The membrane cassette snaps into the Prime ProTrans 250 processing skid, eliminating cumbersome clean-in-place procedures.
At the heart of our cassette are multiple membranes, each of a different size, allowing for the elimination of contaminants and the flow through of target proteins.
